I’m divorced and a dog Mom to Ryder the Morkie and Teddy the Bichon.

I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 2002 and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist since 2013.
I’ve written and published several books.

In 2009, even with 7 years of Nursing experience, I still doubted that I was smart enough or good enough to get into and succeed in CRNA school.

I was single, living alone in New Jersey, often studying for hours, stressed out and worried about not succeeding. Maxing out on student loans each semester, I would often have nightmares of failing out and having to return to the ICU.

I was accepted into Rutgers Newark after being denied by 4 other programs and wait listed on one. I was also getting over an extremely abusive and toxic relationship and the sudden accidental death of my brother.

I finally made it to graduation and studied an additional six weeks for my NBCRNA National Certification Exam. I finally overcame my imposter syndrome and finished. I received my passing score shortly after the computer turned off, and I’ve been working as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Coach!
